Eligibility criteria for Pharmacy


Bachelor Of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.)

Candidates shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted respective states/Central Government Authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities  (AIU) with English as one the subject and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and /or Biology  (P.C.B / P.C.M.B) as optional subjects individually ; and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects ‘Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology taken together’.


Bachelor Of Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

Passed in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.


Master Of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.)

Pass or appearing (2022) B.Pharm Degree examination from an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm) (50% for the reserved category candidates). Students appearing the final B. Pharm degree examination may also apply.

For candidates having not less than 5 years professional experience, after passing B. Pharm course, there shall be a relaxation in pass percentage from 55% to 50% for admission to M.Pharm programme.

Every student, selected for admission to the Post Graduate programme in any PCI approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission,  failing which the admission of the student shall be cancelled.

The candidate having valid GPAT Score can apply and shall get preference in selection.

Note : It is mandatory to submit a Migration Certificate obtained from the respective University where the candidate had passed his/her qualifying degree (B.Pharm)


iNTEGRATED M.Sc. Biotechnology

Passed 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany / Zoology as subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for candidate belonging to reserved category).


M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Nano Science & Nano Technology / Medicinal & Aromatic Plants / Molecular Biology)

Pass or appearing (2022) at Bachelor degree in Science / Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering & Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics or equivalent from any recognized University with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category).


M.Sc. (Chemical Biology & Drug Design)

Pass or appearing (2022) B.Sc. with Chemistry (Honours) / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category).
